I was told my rabbits back legs are paralyzed but now (2 weeks later) when I tickle her feet her toes move.?

Sadie is a 5 month old english lop. She's very spoiled! She always loved to run through the house jumping and and flipping through the air. It's sooooo cute. But 2 weeks ago she was doing this then suddenly she just stopped. She just layed against the wall and looked around. She didn't ,and still don't, show any signs of being in pain. We just thought she was resting. An hour later she crawled over to my husband to rub her head. He thought she was playing but then realized her couldn't move her back leg. We couldn't get into the Vet until Monday. (This happened Saturday afternoon) When I took her in He said there was nothing we could do and that we should just put her down. Can you believe that!!!! Another vet said the same thing. She harmed her spine, she paralyzed and that's it. I started researching on the internet about how to care for a disabled rabbit. She still eats and drinks just like normal, and still doesn't show any signs of pain. Today (2 weeks later) I noticed,after I gave her her bath, that when I touched her foot it moved. I tickled her foot and she moved her toes. Now they don't move a whole lot but 2 weeks ago she couldn't move them at all or wouldn't them. Does this mean that maybe she will regain the use of her legs? I am in the process of having a wheelchair made for her right now. I saw some youtube. She also has just started physical therapy. Do you think that maybe with therapy and a chair she could regain at least some use of he legs. Also, could she hurt her front legs by dragging herself around like she does now. I keep her in a small area at night so she doesn't try to move around so much (so she get hurt anymore). Then through the day, I'm home all the time, I bring her out into the living room. My house is all open so one matter what I'm doing through out the day I can see her and she can see me. She seems to like that. Why does it seem like the vets all just want to put down disable pets? I mean don't they realize that their not just pets their family members. You don't put down a family member! Now if she was in pain, suffering and I could not make it better then and ONLY then will I ever consider putting her down. I guess I'm just looking for hope that she will have use of her legs again. She's still my baby disabled or not.

Does it sound like my son was sleeping or could he have stopped breathing?

So today when I was putting my son down who is 8 months for a nap after he was done with his bottle I went to go put him in the crib and he was a little pale and I thought that was weird so when I put him in his crib he was really limp now to let you know he didn't really take a nap all day but when we were in the car for maybe 30 mins. So when I set him down I umed he stopped breathing because when I felt his stomach it didn't move and I felt it for about 5 seconds and still no movement and so I freak out and grab my phone while holding him to call 911. While on hold another 15 seconds has gone by I start saying his name, he is a pretty deep sleeper we can be doing things in his room even drop stuff and he wont budge when he is sleeping, so while saying his name no reaction, I start to tap his shoulder nothing. Then as soon as the fire department gets on the line about 20 seconds total has gone by still saying his name and nudge him I notice his eyes move and I cont. to do the same thing then he sits up in my arms doesn't gasp for air or anything like he couldn't breath and lays back down so I then cont to say his name and nudge arm and he jumps up and starts smiling and laughing and acting normal. I then tell the 911 guy I think he is fine and I get off the phone with him and watch my son closely he is acting like he normally does. So did I freak out for nothing or do you think he could have stopped breathing? Also wanted to add he didn't seem like he was in distress when he got up after everything was breathing fine.

Help with my internet please!?

Try disconnecting the power cable from your router AND modem leaving it off for at least a minute. Reconnect the modem first and wait until your lights on the modem are all on and modem is Online. Then reconnect the router and see if that helps. It seems the router is dropping your clients intermittently, I have seen Belkin Routers do this before that is why I don't recommend this brand anymore. Sometimes it is just about the router overheating, make sure the router has enough clearance and that the vent slots are not covered. Good Luck.

Ok;; well I have finally talked my mom into letting me add a new fuzzy to my home to keep my current fert company while I'm away at school. She is very energetic and I would feel better if she had a cage mate to keep her company. Turn signals, right of way? Speed limits? Why do people drive so bad that if stopped they should never drive?

I used to not be the best driver I knew. I have a good driver's record. What bugs me are these drivers who don't give space between vehicles. People bug me who don't use turn signals. They often go way over the speed limit. It's 55 on IL-55 until your are almost out of Cook Cou7nty. As soon as I get on at Lake Shore Drive, Pulaski, Cicero, or Harlem Avenue, they're going 65, especially truckers. I'll never get a speeding ticket because I use cruise control at the speed limit. Where it is 65 I go 55 to 60, because anything over my last gear only wastes gas faster. The worst offenders seem to be construction workers driving thier huge SUV or pickups, or people in Hummers, Lexus, Mercedes, Aztecs, you know, the more expensive the cars, the worse they seem to drive. Cell phone use is bad enough, but I fear those with "blue-tooths" because they are oblivious to the rest of the worst when driving, or walking, unless it is heard in thier ear. People drive worse than ever.

My Chihuahua ate a few small pieces of a plastic toy! Help!?

She is a 3 month old Chihuahua and she got a hold of a soft plastic (not the hard stuff) alligator toy. She has thrown up a couple of times but white foam comes out and only about 1/2 a tsp. amount. to 1 tsp. She has been having normal bowel movements and hasnt had the toy at all in several days but she just had a BM that had small pieces of what appeared to be plastic in it. Should I take her to the vet? Does all attic insulation from the 50's to 70's contain asbestos?

I plan on remodeling my cabin a little and am concerned whether or not to even attempt to do this due to possible asbestos in the insulation. The cabin has poor insulation ability as in doesn't retain heat very well and I believe it was built in the 50's or 60's. From what I remember it looked whitish and almost like wool or puffy material. Im going there this weekend and will look again and make sure what I am describing is accurate. I read online the Vermiculite can contain asbestos but its a pebble type material. I am almost positive it is not this but again im going to verify this, this weekend. When you open the bonnet you will find there is not a lot of room to see anything ! But the scuttle panel trim is easily removed, take out the four 20 torx screws and remove the large plastic cover. under that you will find another trim that is held on with six 10mm bolts, remove the bolts and remove that trim. You can now see the engine ! You may need to remove a silver engine cover, this is just clipped on, lift the front edge first the pull the cover towards you. The spark plugs are located under the four ignition coils, these usually have a grey or brown top on them and are held in by a 10mm bolt. remove the coils and change the plugs, you can use a normal 14mm plug socket for this. When refitting the scuttle panel trims, note the first trim to go back on has numbers by each bolt hole, tighten the bolts in numbered sequence to allow trim to fit squarely. it really is easy, it just seems like a lot of aggravation

Its not uncommon for finches to pluck other finches. Its usually a female plucking a male who usually just sit there and take it. Its especially common with Zebra finches. There's not much you can really do, I've watched this with a fair number of pairs I've had over the years. They still seem quite happy, despite being somewhat bald and funny looking. Unless they plucked guy is really objecting, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have been taking over the counter menopause medicine, Estroven, and it does help with all the effects of menopause, it takes about a month before it really starts getting into your system and you start feeling the effects or shall I say you will start noticing that you are not moody, bitchy,and you won't have hot flashes. I think this a personal choice. What you read is one of the reasons I do not follow organized religion anymore. I personally also think that your child should make the choice of being baptized. 6 year old oranda, in a 110 litre tank, with a 7 year old comet. The comet is in fine fettle but the oranda has been spending a lot of time sitting at the bottom of the tank, although he swims about now and then, and comes up for food. He's not swimming oddly or anything. He did have a few white specks on his head, but they are not as obvious and think they might be going away. I had another comet which developed finrot and swimbladder problems, and died a a few weeks ago, in spite of water changes and treatments. I do regular water changes (a third every 2 weeks) and hoover the gravel, etc. I gave them some peas in case he is constipated, but is there anything else I should be doing?

I have always had Collies, my Mum in law has a Whippet cross..the whippet jumps a lot, she makes a half hearted effort to stop it, which fails. Jumping Dogs are a nuisance. When your Dog jumps up, instruct every single person you meet with the dog to do the same thing. Step quickly backwards, making a loud noise, like a 'hiss', or 'screech'..just the one time.. or similar odd sounding high pitched sound..and then turn their back to the dog. You must always do this, everyone must, the dog will only stop if it is consistent, if it gets a break and is allowed to jump a few times you are starting from scratch. Never shout at your Dog, it is a waste of time. Whippets are not known for intelligence, and are hard to train.

I have a one month old that drinks 35-40oz of milk a night then after each feeding spits up what to do?

My son was one month old on the 7th of May and eats 35-40oz a night then spits up alot after each feeding then wants more. Should i put a little of cereal in his milk to satisfy him through the night he isn't bad during the day it is mostly at night i have even tried warming his formula up some so it is warmer than usual and that didn't help! I am planning on upgrading my video card in a Gateway E4600. It has an AGP slot with a GeForce MX400 (64mb) in it right now. It has a 1.7ghz P4 processor and 512 mb of ram. What would be a decent graphics card upgrade for this system? I'd like to be able to play games with better frame rates than they are right now. I would not like to spend over $70 - $80 for this upgrade either. I am also planning on upgrading the PSU. A possible upgrade I was considering was a GeForce 6200. Please list some other options that would make a significant difference to frame rates from what I already have.

Can an employer not hire me for a temporary job position because I will be leaving for boot camp soon?

I'm in the NAVY DEP (Delayed Entry Program) and will be leaving for boot camp August 12, 2009. I enquired about a second job; the job is a temporary lawn maintence job for the city and ends November 1, 2009. At the interview they asked me If I would be going on any vacations soon so I mentioned that I would be going to boot camp in August and they informed me that they need someone to be able to work the til november not just til August and good luck finding another job. Need serious help with connecting to the internet using a wireless adapter..anyone?

Right, so its quite along story. My dad recently signed up for o2wireless broadband, has installed the rooter that comes with it, and is successfully connected to the internet using the ethernet cable (following instructions on the o2 cd). But when he tried to connect using a wireless adapter, geez, it does nothing. I've literally tried evrything i could think of. using the cd instructions, they sed it wudnt connect to the network, then i tried reinstalling the adapter (thompson one) and that just did nothing. i rekon its something to do with the settings on the adapter not matching the rooter's, but i have no idea how you change them, i dnt no if any1 can help, but and suggestions realy wud be amazin. Im not much of a computer whizz, but i no enuf to no that this is just ridiculous tbh lol. bin 2 weeks now. He even got a new adapter, and a new rooter, which has had no effect. I hope some1 can help with this conundrum!

9th grade biology help. How do you read DNA sequence?

It is when researchers add dye to read the DNA sequence. IF DNA polymerase is using the strand of DNA to synthesize and make a new strand and scientists add dye to some of the bases how exactly do they read the ENTIRE sequence. Since the synthesis is stopped everytime a dye colored base is added then there will be several strands of DNA. Researchers can then yze the bases and look at the dye. But still the dye only has information for some specific bases. So how the hell do they use the dye to map out the entire dna sequence. Wouldnt they just have some random bases?

thats fine. 4g is more than enough for FSX and anything above 2ghz will be fine for gaming. ATI Radeon cards are my personal favorite for gaming, and a 500gb HD should store anything you need for a game. i cant predict battery life based on that, but im guessing about 2-5 hours which should be ok as long as you dont game constantly without charging. the only question is if you like the screen size and resolution. if you do, go for it. it will suit all your needs

Well, I have to write a paper on the Great Gatsby, with quite a bit of volume, around...3 pages :/ I'm trying to think of a legitimate thesis. I was thinking about connecting to Fitzgerald's life and his life's influence on the novel but his life seems a bit short and not too juicy. I need to stay away from lame -*** thesis(es?) like ones pertainging to symbolism or "how it relates to the 1920's." I thought about also making a connection with literature periods, like modernism etc., but again am worried about content volume. Any help?

Formula Frustration - What should I do? I can't find a formula to suit my little one!?

So my little one is 5 weeks old and is on his 3rd kind of formula. At first they had him on Similac Advance he was on that for 15 days, until he started having projectile vomiting and horrible gas issues, along with constipation. They then put him on Isomil advance and prune juice and he was on that for 14 days, his vomiting improved and the gas improved a little, but the constipation did not. So they then switched him to Enfamil Gentlease Lipil and told me to put karo syrup in his bottles, the spit up is about the same and the gas is pretty horrible again, oh and the bowel movements have not improved either and he has been on that now for over a week. I now have to buy formula again and I'm not sure if I should continue with what he's on or switch to something else? I was told to give Similac Sensitive a try...What do you think? Thanks! (all this switching formulas have been under doctors orders)
