Should i kiss him? im kinda scared too.?

my boyfrined(bf) and i have been going out for maybe a month. we slowdanced a couple times. we've been to the movies by ourselves 1 time and with friends 2 times. he and i both had seprate movie nites (we watch a movie with a lot of friends) and a lot of people have asked if we have kissed. i really want to kiss him but i dont think that he wants to kiss me. i say this 'cause he never shows any pda (public display of affection) for me. i mean that he never holds my hand or puts his arm around me. what should i do? im really desprate for an answer.
