Why animal go bilateral symmetry instead of having ymetry?

Bilateral symmetry is an evolutionary advancement. For examples, parts of bodies can develop differently, different organs can be located in different body parts, movement is made more efficient (direction of movement better defined, resistance to water or sediments reduced), and higher mobility (more efficient in seeking food, finding mate, avoiding & escaping predators).
