Platonic friends?

I have known people to have had a guy friend from the time they went to kindergarten up until they went into the nursing home together . It is very common . I had many guys as friends and they have been good to me and have had manners and do not push anything on me, we just enjoy each others friendship and leave it at that. You just need to say to guys from the very beginning that you want to be friends with them but that is all nothing else and no hidden intentions down the road, what you see is what you get.
