My Chihuahua ate a few small pieces of a plastic toy! Help!?

She is a 3 month old Chihuahua and she got a hold of a soft plastic (not the hard stuff) alligator toy. She has thrown up a couple of times but white foam comes out and only about 1/2 a tsp. amount. to 1 tsp. She has been having normal bowel movements and hasnt had the toy at all in several days but she just had a BM that had small pieces of what appeared to be plastic in it. Should I take her to the vet? She is eating normally and playing as well.
