Where does earth quake liikely happen? pls answer this question fast pls cuz am in school answering it.?

Earthquakes occur when two plates slip past each other or continue to collide. The resulting force of friction release causes the earth's crust to "shake". If two plates slip past each other underwater, they can cause tsunami's and can be quite destructive even if they are not very close to shore. A good example is the tsunami of south east Asia that occurred on December 26, 2006.
