Girls; what should i do?

there is a superbowl party tom and this guy that i used to like is gonna be there... but im pretty sure i moved on but just in case i dont want to go to the party.. soo im 15 and i have 2 midterms on monday. so should i just like tell my mom i wanna stay home and study. and watch the game at home?? like what should i do? btw i wanted to wait to c him until i get my braces off and my after my hair grew longer.. so plz plz plz help me!!! 10 pts to the best answer.. thanx!
