Why is the Khalifa of Bahrain using violence?

Hiring militias to attack Shia civilians, hiring only sunni people in the armed forces, isolating shia people in top government posiitions and now when they are only asking for democracy and rights the king uses force. This is unethical. I know shia people are hated by mani sunnis but these are only a minority they are the wahabi people who are not muslim. Shia are muslim like sunnis and together they are one so why is the khalifa killing his own people. Instead he should satisfy their requests even if it means stepping down. This way everyone (sunni and shia can have political power instead of a ruling family). Shia are brothers and even if they are hated then they are still humans. They deserve the demands being asked. Sooner or later this dictatorship will fall. Do not tell me Iran is behind their revolts because shia bahrainis are Arab. Honestly iran has its own problems to worry about, and i know sunni and shia are one and together they must fight this khalifa family as well as the Saudi government to bring forth democracy for all people, be it shias, women or other minorities. It is illogical to have a handful of unexperienced Sheikhs or Caliphs ruling over a modernized country.
