Are these good spec for a gaming laptop?

thats fine. 4g is more than enough for FSX and anything above 2ghz will be fine for gaming. ATI Radeon cards are my personal favorite for gaming, and a 500gb HD should store anything you need for a game. i cant predict battery life based on that, but im guessing about 2-5 hours which should be ok as long as you dont game constantly without charging. the only question is if you like the screen size and resolution. if you do, go for it. it will suit all your needs
