Did I have a Miscarriage?

I thought I may have been pregnant. My stomach was getting harder and harder, My were really tender and My period was late. But i was laying on my back like felling my stomach because i was still trying to discover things and i felt a little tiny bump in my stomach. I started rubbing the bump harder and harder trying to figure out what it was and discover it. It then popped. Now I have really bad shooting pains in my tummy. And after it "popped" my tummy gradually got softer and softer...What happened?
